Our Leadership

"And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ". (Ephesians 4:11-13)

OUR STAFF TEAM

  • Danny Yoon Lead Pastor email

Pastor Danny was born and raised in Massachusetts and is through and through a lover of all things Boston, especially the sports teams. He started attending Cornerstone in 2009 while studying at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and joined the pastoral staff in 2011. He is married to his college sweetheart Eunjee and they have a son named Judah.

Some of his passions in serving the church include preaching, 1-on-1 discipleship and counseling, and marriage enrichment.

In his spare time he loves watching and playing sports, fishing, and doing CrossFit. He also loves finding new cafes and feeding his guilty pleasure of buying overly expensive coffee.

  • Allison Yoon Creative Director

Originally from Dallas, Allison eventually found her way to the East Coast to attend Boston University, where she studied Public Relations. She loved being a part of Cornerstone as a college student and young adult, and now has the privilege of being the Creative Director. Allison enjoys exploring different cities, rooting for the Mavs, and spending time with her family and friends.

our leadership team

The Leadership Team (LT) at Cornerstone is a group of congregation-approved members who oversee the church both spiritually and operationally. On the operational side, the LT oversees church finances, makes sure we have a place to worship, and takes care of other business matters. On the spiritual side, the LT makes sure the Pastoral Staff has accountability and are taken care of and keep a general pulse of the congregation’s health. The overall goal is to maintain Cornerstone’s health as a Christ-centered community.

  • Bo Kim

Bo has been attending Cornerstone since 2009 when he moved to Boston for work. Since then, the Cornerstone community has been a steady drumbeat in his life - people who have supported and loved him, his wife, Minnie, and two children. Today, both Bo and Minnie work at Liberty Mutual Insurance, and live south of Boston. Bo has served on the Leadership Team in past years as Finance Chair and is the current FY23 LT chair.

By their example, she became involved in the Cornerstone Church community where she grew to love and serve the church. She has served in different capacities both in college and as a young adult, most recently as a vocalist on worship ministry and as a core member of the young adult ministry.
